What's the story?

Morgan, Kayla, and Bekah had been best friends since third grade. Throughout their grade school and high school years they had their ups and downs but were virtually inseparable. They all applied to different colleges and weren't sure where they would end up but it worked out that they all decided on Florida State. They were excited to be able to continue their friendship into college. They even shared a triple at Landis for Summer C before fall semester. Summer C was a blast and it seemed like their friendship had only continued to get stronger until one night Bekah hooked up with Kayla's ex-boyfriend Chad who had broken her heart just weeks before. To make matters worse, Bekah didn't tell Kayla and continued to see Chad behind her back. All the while Bekah lies to her two best friends and fakes her friendship. Bekah was pretty messed up. Then one night the friends decide to get froyo. They invite Bekah, but she declines saying she needs to go to Stroz to study for her test the next morning.

Later that night as Kayla and Megan walk out of YoMo to the parking lot they notice Chad's bright red pick up truck, that you couldn't miss if you tried, parked with the headlights on. The light was shining in Kayla's eyes at first but she could see what looked to be... Chad and Bekah making out in his truck! Kayla was infuriated and quickly lost her appetite and threw her frozen yogurt at his front window. As it slid down the window, leaving behind melted froyo, Kayla saw Bekah with a terrified look on her face.

A few weeks later, Morgan and Kayla were getting lunch at sweetshop and they noticed "Morgan & Kayla & Bekah forever!" that they had written on the wall over Summer C. Bekah had not spoken to the other two girls since that night and hadn't reached out to apologize. Morgan grabbed a pen out of her bag and scratched out Bekah's name. Instead of laughing along with Morgan, Kayla sat with a forlorn look on her face as she reminisced on the time that they were all best friends.they were before.
