When I think of Valentines Day I think about people demonstrating and celebrating their love for one another. People like to give cards, flowers, chocolate, and other gifts. Couples might plan special dates to celebrate together. There are a lot of positive things about Valentines Day. People who aren't in a relationship may look at Valentines Day as a reminder that they are single but there is always chocolate to be eaten! You can also use Valentines Day to celebrate your love for your family and friends. Many tv episodes and movies have been made about celebrating Valentines Day. The movie, Valentines Day 2010 is a Romantic Comedy that is all about Valentines Day and how different people celebrate the day. It features Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner as the high school sweetheart couple who are very gushy and give each other extravagant gifts, the husband who forgets to give his wife flowers, and the single woman looking for a one night stand. The movie is interesting because it shows how different kinds of people spend Valentines Day. It could be a day of romance and happiness or even loneliness and heartbreak. The movie very accurately portrays the genre conventions of Valentines Day.
